Heating problems in the lodge, extended periods without power... But throughout, they maintained a great attitude, were responsive and empathetic, and managed to be both professional and relaxed. When you stay with them, I'm sure you'll agree you are in good hands. In top of that, the cabin we stayed in was very cozy..."

"First time, what a spectacular place. Northwest luxury. Honey (and Sharon) took great care of us at the Inn, Gus and "Mom" did us right at Jack's Hut. The little lake was an unexpected bonus (which you can walk around) and the fall colors were wonderful. Loved our room. Will be back."

"Amazing stay at the freestone inn! Our king room was exactly as pictured and so beautiful and CLEAN! We were so impressed. Bed was very comfortable. And The location was perfect for visiting the national park and such a gorgeous and secluded spot. The hot tub and pool were also wonderful. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again!"

"From Honey at booking, to the team at check in- Freestone Inn was the perfect way to end a backpacking trip in the North Cascades. The property is impeccably maintained- and the rooms were immaculate and blew my expectations out of the water. Just a quick jaunt to Mazama General Store for some pre hike treats/coffee..and amazing location near Winthrop for a night out..100% will book again- and now my go to spot for a weekend away in WA"

"We loved our stay here and it exceeded our expectations. We were in room 1 with patio directly going onto the lawn/lake and close to the hot tub. The staff is on site (at reception desk) 9am-5pm, outside of these hours you get the key from the keybox. There is a pizza place (lovely one) on site which is currently open until 7pm for some days of the week. The room was amazing and the fireplace was great to have...."

"We stayed at the lodge for two nights over Labor Day weekend and hardly saw another guest. It was so quiet, peaceful, and restorative! The patios off the back of the rooms have amazing mountain views and access to the lake. The whole property is lovely. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. No Internet availability, but that information is stated clearly before booking, so not a problem."

"I stayed for 4 nights (party of 4) and booked a 2 bd suite.. it was delightful! Being able to ski right off the patio on to the trails, the scenery was wonderful. The suite was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. The bed was comfortable as well. Overall freestone is one of favorite places to stay."
